About the Project:
The FLOURISH project (Family-Focused Adolescent & Lifelong Health Promotion) is a multi-phase, multi-country study focused on improving adolescent mental health and well-being through family-focused interventions. This implementation science project aims to optimize a parenting program for adolescents (ages 10–14) and their caregivers using the Multiphasic Optimization Strategy (MOST). Job Description:
The doctoral student will join the team at the Department of Health Psychology as part of the FLOURISH project. The primary responsibilities will involve data analysis of trial data and modeling of health care systems data under the supervision of Prof. Foran and other experienced research staff involved. The researcher will also contribute to writing academic papers and the dissemination of findings, as well as collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from partner institutions across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform data analyses of the trial data and model health care systems.
2. Contribute to and lead on publications as part of the dissertation.
3. Contribute to data management.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers across Europe.
Requirements:
1. A Master’s in psychology, health psychology, statistics, public health, or a related field.
2. Interest and experience with statistical analyses and computer simulations.
3. Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
4. Familiarity with randomized controlled trials (RCTs) or related designs.
