Your Key Responsibilities
We're seeking a talented individual to drive our financial operations in Austria, ensuring strong financial performance while maintaining compliance with local and international standards.
Key Tasks:
* Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial operations for SKIDATA Austria, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling processes.
* Team Management: Lead and develop a team of 3-5 finance professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that drives high performance and operational excellence.
* FP&A: Coordinate the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting cycles for the Austrian market, providing in-depth analysis and insights that inform business decisions.
* Financial Control: Maintain strong financial control across operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, P&L, balance sheet, and gross profit analysis.
* Reporting: Oversee internal and external financial reporting requirements, utilizing SKIDATA's reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy.
* Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic business partner to the local management team, providing financial insights and analysis to drive business growth and profitability.
* Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with both local (Austrian) and international financial regulations.
* Systems & Processes: Drive continuous improvements in financial systems and processes, ensuring efficient integration of financial systems across operations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certifications would be an advantage.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Finance or Controller role, preferably in B2B industries.
* Experience in preparing monthly/annual financial statements (IFRS & Local GAAP), tax returns, budgets, and forecasts.
* Strong Excel skills and a detail-oriented, analytical approach to managing complex financial data.
* Fluency in both German and English (written & spoken).
