As Senior Sustainability in Design at SA Water, you will collaborate with diverse teams across the organisation to implement cutting-edge frameworks, influence key projects, and drive compliance with industry best practices. About Sustainable Infrastructure
The Sustainable Infrastructure group is dedicated to maximising value for customers and the community by developing innovative and optimised infrastructure plans, and overseeing the planning, construction, delivery, and maintenance of water and sewerage assets across the state and business.
Your responsibilities for this opportunity
Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will:
1. Act as a subject matter expert on Sustainability in Design, including Safety in Design.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement standardised sustainability and safety frameworks.
3. Develop and deliver training, workshops, and facilitation services.
4. Ensure compliance with sustainability and safety in design processes and relevant legislation, maintaining SA Water's reputation for excellence.
5. Innovate processes to capture data and drive continuous improvement in design systems.
Your success in this role will come from:
1. Extensive knowledge and experience in Sustainability in Design, Safety in Design, and engineering design principles.
2. Familiarity with sustainability practices and requirements, WHS Act, and industry best practices.
3. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including managing consultants and contractors.
4. Certification or experience in ISC ISAP or equivalent (desirable).
5. A commitment to customer service excellence, collaboration, and driving innovation.
