Are you passionate about power electronics and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)? We are seeking motivated scientists and engineers to join our dynamic team, where you'll work on simulating Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) in power electronic systems within real-world environments.
Start with support from experienced colleagues and, as you grow, take on more responsibilities independently. You’ll be immersed in a collaborative, open environment that fosters learning, enabling you to expand your knowledge of EMC in power electronics significantly. In this role, you’ll assist the project leader and unit manager with organizational tasks while contributing to groundbreaking work in the field.

* EMC measurements of electronic circuits, mainly power electronics hardware, in the laboratory
* Measurement and modelling of electronic components and their use in simulation
* Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) simulation of electronic circuits, mainly power electronic circuits
* Responsible for the EMC laboratory and its state of the art devices
Your profile
* A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Strong knowledge in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and in Power Electronics
* Solid background in analog & digital electronics
* Experience with 3D EM simulation and Circuit level simulation
* Experience with EMC laboratory & measurement
* Software usage (as a plus): Keysight ADS, LTspice, QSpice, CST, Ansys HFSS
* A passion for research and innovation, with the drive to work on challenging projects.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
* Good communications skills in English (both written and spoken)

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group E. We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your experience and qualifications. For this position, your minimum monthly salary starts with EUR 3.963,00, paid 14 times a year.
