Job Description:
Your main responsibility will be to perform acceptance tests of space propulsion flight hardware with an option to later on develop into in-orbit operations support of space missions:
* Being part of our outstanding Production department within the acceptance test team
* Testing of electric space propulsion systems and testing of development and flight hardware
* Working with vacuum systems for testing
* Document and analyse thruster behaviour as well as telemetry and derive operation instructions
* Work in an agile environment and collaborate with product managers and the engineering team to conduct development tests
* Option for career development into customer support for in-space missions
Who you are:
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on, diligent, disciplined, and motivated person with the ability and curiosity to handle complex situations and devise creative solving strategies:
* Academic education, pref. Master's degree (University/FH, UAS,..)
* 3+ years of experience with laboratory testing, ideally in Space or Aerospace industry
* Knowledge in Python and/or LabView is desirable
* Knowledge in plasma physics or space environment
* Experience with vacuum systems and/or in-orbit operations is a plus
* In-depth understanding and professional verbal level of the English language.
Type of contract:
Full time position; 38.5 hours/week
Salary:
The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 2.800,- gross per month, with a planned significant overpayment depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
