Key Responsibilities:
* Design & Development: Creating concepts and geometric integration of mobile robotic systems for construction site use.
* 3D Modeling: Developing mechanical assemblies and individual components in Solidworks, including creating CAD models, drawings, and bills of materials.
* Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Close coordination with teams from electrical engineering, software development, and production to ensure an optimal overall system design.
* Optimization: Introducing new ideas to optimize existing designs and innovative solutions for technical challenges.
* Documentation: Maintaining and managing technical documents in PDM Studio as well as coordinating workflows with Jira.
* CAD Administration: Managing and maintaining the CAD environment (Solidworks), ensuring data integrity, optimizing CAD and PDM processes (PDM Studio), and supporting the team with technical questions related to CAD.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
* Solid experience with Solidworks and ideally PDM Studio.
* Experience in designing hand tools, machinery, or construction equipment is an advantage.
* Interest in designing complex systems with an interdisciplinary focus (e.g., integration of electronics and mechanics).
Experience:
* Proven professional experience in a comparable position.
* Advantageous: Experience with the specific requirements of construction equipment or similar devices.
* Experience in administering CAD and PDM systems is a plus.
Soft Skills:
* High level of initiative, teamwork, and systematic thinking.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical content clearly.
Education:
Completed studies or relevant technical training (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics).
Working Hours, Place of Work & Salary:
* Full-time position (38.5h/week).
* After the trial month, home office is possible.
* Competitive compensation and bonus package.
* Minimum gross salary in line with the current collective agreement "Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte des Metallgewerbes". Overpayment, reflecting market rates and based on your experience and qualifications, is offered.
