The Lab Filtration and OEM Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the Discovery Cytiva OEM/Custom Lab filtration business for standard and custom ranges, covering the Whatman and Pall Lab filtration ranges.
This position reports to the European Lab Filtration Manager and is part of the Discovery Lab Filtration team working remotely to cover Austria, Poland and Eastern Europe.
What you will do:
* Work with the DAM/Discovery Sales Specialists to manage direct and indirect strategy for Lab Filtration -support, motivation and training.
* Create end user demand for both direct and indirect customers and spend at least 60% of time in the field
* Sales negotiation and deal closure, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users and decision makers
* Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of Cytiva and competitive products.
* Actively use CRM system to ensure transparency and total customer management.
* Analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales solutions
* Demonstrate ability for prioritization and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Who you are
* Degree and experience from the field of filtration applications, products
* Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays
* Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
* Proficient in English Language
* Robust interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel – Approx 60% travel within the key countries for the region (Poland, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic)
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- +3 years of consultative sales experience
- Experience in working with distributors
