Job Title: Senior Primavera Planner/Scheduler (Turnarounds – Refineries)
Location: Schwechat, Austria
Duration: Up to 3 years, with the opportunity for extension
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Primavera Planner/Scheduler to support the planning and scheduling of turnaround projects for refineries located in Schwechat (Austria), Burghausen (Germany), and Petrobrazi (Romania). This role requires a hands-on professional who understands complex scheduling requirements, dependencies, and execution strategies in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, able to align work packages, dependencies, and progress with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain detailed turnaround schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring efficient execution and resource allocation.
* Coordinate planning and scheduling activities across multiple refineries, ensuring alignment on key milestones and dependencies.
* Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate work packages and track progress.
* Monitor and update schedules to reflect real-time project status, providing forecasts and recommendations for adjustments.
* Facilitate meetings and communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure planning consistency and problem resolution.
* Analyze project risks related to scheduling, identifying and mitigating potential delays.
* Ensure compliance with turnaround planning best practices and industry standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in turnaround planning/scheduling within refinery, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 (not just a software user but a hands-on planner who understands real-world project execution).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align and coordinate complex schedules.
* Fluent in English (German language skills are an advantage).
* Experience in coordinating multi-site projects is a plus.
* EU residency
* Ability to work on-site in Schwechat, Austria for the duration of the project.
