The Role
As a Cyber Security Senior Consultant, you'll be the guardian of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, ensuring organizations are shielded from the ever-evolving threat landscape. Your expertise will be sought after as you assess, analyze, and implement effective security measures in customer environments.
Collaboration will be your forte, as you work closely with clients to understand their unique security requirements and assess their current security posture. Armed with this knowledge, you'll provide expert guidance and recommendations on the best security practices, risk management strategies, and robust security policies.
You won't stop at providing advice; you'll design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams to deploy state-of-the-art technologies, ensuring a comprehensive security framework.
In the fast-paced world of cybersecurity, staying ahead of the game is crucial. That's why you'll continuously immerse yourself in the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices. Your recommendations will drive enhancements to the organization's security posture.

As a Cyber Security Senior Consultant at Kyndryl you will join the Kyndryl Consultant Profession, working with other Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts.

Required Skills and Experience
* 7+ years of experience in a Cyber Security field
* Experience and market knowledge in at least 3 of these areas: SASE, ZT, IAM/PAM, Endpoint protection, CSPM, hyperscalers security suites, Threat Intelligence, OT security, application protection, encryption
* Experience Advising C suite
* Basic knowledge of cloud computing and hyperscalers services
* Good knowledge of managed cyber security, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, security assurance and cyber security standards
* Familiar with main cyber security Vendors and able to work with them in new business opportunities
* Good performance, working in the client's deadlines and with focus on high quality technical proposals
* Able to communicate fluently in English and German
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Valid and current certification or equivalent experience in one of the following: CISSP / CompTIA Security+ / Certified Cloud Security Professional / GIAC Security Essentials
* Vendor accreditations on technical knowledge for key products / solutions
* Familiar with vulnerability scanning, application security, penetration testing, encryption, threat modelling, identity and access management
* Security tooling for Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
* Technical architecture skills
* Sales skills
* Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and methodologies
* Familiarity with emerging security technologies and trends
This position is classified in the job family “ST1” in accordance with the applicable IT collective agreement. Your actual salary will be agreed upon in a personal conversation.
