We are looking at our site in Linz for an analytical mind to join our multi-national Finance team and support four of our companies in Austria, Germany, and Eastern Europe.

As Business Accountant in LAT Nitrogen, Linz you will ensure the availability of high-quality financial data to support and contribute to optimal decision making by mastering the CO modules of SAP.
You are a role model, identifying best practices and helping to implement them.

In our challenge to drive forward, we expect the following from you
* Ensuring high quality financial data is available for optimal decision making (product costs, distribution costs, fixed costs including allocations, project costs, …)
* Analysing product cost estimates (quantities and unit costs) and adjusting activity type prices (unit costs of resources) to have correct standard cost in place for all products
* Analysing of variances (difference between standard costs and actual costs posted on accounts by GL), initiating corrective action and reporting to Business Finance
* Executing month end closing steps, mainly in the Controlling area: process order settlements, work order settlements, FIFO valuation, internal sales postings, cost centre assessments
* Provide information, give the necessary support and help with ad hoc requests to the customer incl. Controlling, Group Controlling, local functions on site, and external auditors
You have a Bachelor degree with focus on finance, controlling or accounting and are excited about working in an international and English-speaking environment?
You gained first professional experience in a similar position and are able to contribute with your strong data interpretation and validation skills? Ideally, you also have a solid and up-to-date knowledge of accounting rules and you strive for excellent results.

* knowledge of SAP reporting tools is an additional asset.
Following Austrian law regulations and based on your experiences, skills and competencies, we offer a competitive compensation in line with the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 56.000, -- annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week). We are willing to pay more based on your individual experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
