BOQ Group are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our Group Finance Division on an 8 month max term contract.
The role is integral to carrying out the internal audit work required to provide independent and objective assurance to the Bank and its stakeholders in relation to remediation programs and audits across the organisation. In addition, generate insights as to the key risks the organisation is facing and will face, how it might better manage those risks, and to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and organisational risk.
About you
As an Internal Audit Manager, you possess a sound knowledge of and application of Internal Audit Methodologies, coupled with strong risk assessment and control evaluation skills. Your analytical prowess is complemented by a thorough understanding of legal and legislative requirements, as well as a robust data analytics capability. You have some knowledge of banking products and characteristics, which enhances your ability to interact effectively with middle management and external auditors.
Your effective communication and influencing skills enable you to present to and influence middle management levels and other areas of the wider organization with a clear, concise communication style. You support strategic decisions with sound business rationale. Additionally, your leadership qualities are evident in your commitment to aligning goals and objectives with the wider BOQ Group, supporting the Internal Audit vision and strategy.
