Exhibition, Office, and Website Manager - Maternity Cover
We are seeking an organised individual to fill a maternity leave position at the galerie gugging, starting April 1st 2025.
Job Title: Exhibition, Office, and Website Manager
Location: Onsite at the galerie gugging, Austria
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, in the office
Required Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required
Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience, with a minimum starting at €2.096.00 (Brutto) Lt. KV for 30 hours per week (Beschäftigungsgruppe E)
If you have a passion for art, enjoy organisational tasks, thrive in collaborative environments, and possess strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply As a maternity leave replacement, you will play a key role in bringing the Gugging Artists and their national and international peers to global audiences This role encompasses exhibition organisation, catalogue production, sales, and administrative support — all delivered with enthusiasm and dedication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Exhibition and Art Fair Production: Manage all logistical aspects and preparations for exhibitions and art fairs.
* Budget Preparation: Develop and oversee budgets for various projects.
* Sales: In-person and via mail.
* Program Management: Plan and implement the internal annual program.
* Project Management: Provide support for special projects and commissions.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Customer and collector support, acquisition, and sales.
* Website supervision, including technical and content management.
* FileMaker updates and management (our inventory management system).
* Translation of documents between English and German.
* Accounting and financial management.
* Managing duty and vacation schedules.
* Processing sales, shipping, and after-sales support.
* Managing exports and customs processes.
Essential Requirements:
* Onsite Position
* Fluent in German and English. Additional languages are an asset.
* Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for exhibitions or events.
* Willingness to travel within Europe 2-3 times per year.
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
