Mechanical Construction Manager - Vienna - 12-Month Contract
Our client is a global leader in design, engineering, and delivery of facilities for high-tech industries. It is a multi-disciplined organisation working across the entire construction process from design inception to level 5 commissioning and hand-over. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager for their Vienna based location.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
1. Construction management of high-tech data center projects with a Mechanical Focus
2. Ensuring that construction projects are carried according to schedule and a high level of quality
3. Coordination and monitoring of subcontractors, as well as overall oversight of the activities on construction site
4. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations
5. Attending site inspection, acceptance inspections and meetings
6. Recording defects and tracking defect resolution progress
7. Documentation of the construction progress and reporting to Project Managers
8. Measurement creation and verification of submitted documents from subcontractors
9. Manage large-scale construction projects in a multi-stakeholder environment, supporting clients in making the right decisions
10. Lead the construction management team, coordinate various contractors and oversee project objectives related to safety, cost, schedule and quality
11. Conceptual design and planning of supply systems for heating, air conditioning, ventilation and sanitary facilities as well as clean room technology
12. Technical leadership of a TGA planning team within the scope of project execution
13. Responsibility for leading and coordinating external planning partners
14. Technical equipment of buildings under consideration of innovative technologies, process design and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry
Requirements
1. Completed studies in the field of building services engineering, power engineering or supply engineering (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) or training as a technician with a focus on TGA / ventilation technology and several years of professional experience
2. Several years of professional experience with TGA and clean room technology systems ideally in a pharmaceutical environment or biotechnological or chemical plant construction
3. Very good knowledge in the design of HVAC systems with focus on ventilation and air conditioning technology
4. Professional and confident handling of MS-Office applications
5. Experience in the use of common CAD applications
6. Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and own initiative
7. Flexibility and willingness to travel
