Join our dynamic HR team at The Calile Hotel and take on the role of Learning & Development Manager. This on-site position offers an incredible opportunity for a knowledgeable professional to make a significant impact on our Calile story.
As a critical partner reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will drive learning and development opportunities for the Calile team. Currently, the role is positioned as part-time (4 days per week); however, it has the potential to become full-time. Please consider this when applying.
The Role
As the Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our team. Your expertise will ensure that our team continues to deliver the highest standards of service and hospitality required within a luxury hotel setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Training Program Development: Create and deliver engaging training programs tailored to the needs of our team members.
* Talent Development: Identify and nurture talent within the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
* Performance Management: Implement effective performance management strategies to support employee development and career progression.
* Leadership Training: Develop and deliver leadership training programs to empower our future leaders.
* Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* Overseeing the end-to-end project management of L&OD programs, including engaging external providers and providing hands-on facilitation as required.
* Reviewing and enhancing digital learning capabilities, including activating and optimising the LMS.
Your Background
* Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resource Management or a related field. Coaching qualification would be desirable.
* Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience within the luxury hotel or retail sector.
* Proven ability to design, deliver, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs and initiatives that apply contemporary learning concepts and innovative thinking to support the achievement of business objectives.
* Practical experience in both organisational development and learning, including leadership development, talent management, and facilitating learning programs.
* Strong digital learning expertise, including LMS implementation and content development.
* Demonstrated ability to provide consultancy and advice to managers and employees on people-focused initiatives, utilising critical thinking skills to solve problems and implement effective solutions.
