About the Role
As Senior Development Manager (Foundation Relations), you'll play a key role in the University's philanthropic growth through strategic foundation partnerships. You'll work on diverse, high-impact projects across all faculties, collaborating with brilliant minds in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Your role will be crucial in securing major gifts and influencing key decision-makers in the foundation sector, directly contributing to transformative change.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Build Strategic Relationships: Forge and nurture partnerships with key trusts and foundations across diverse University priorities.
* Craft Compelling Proposals: Develop persuasive, tailored funding applications that align University projects with foundation interests.
* Lead Growth Strategies: Create and implement plans to expand philanthropic revenue from the foundation sector.
* Collaborate Across Faculties: Work with academics and stakeholders from various disciplines to develop impactful proposals.
Who we are looking for
You are a dynamic fundraising professional with exceptional relationship-building skills, able to influence key decision-makers and thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively across diverse teams.
You will also have:
* Proven track record in securing substantial grants from trusts and foundations.
* Outstanding written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, persuasive proposals.
* Collaborative work style and ability to build effective relationships across various disciplines.
* Adaptability and ability to hit the ground running in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Experience working on diverse, high-impact projects.
This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
