We currently have a vacancy for a Python/JavaScript Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Vienna, Austria. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
* Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for image processing and geospatial data management using Python and JavaScript in the ArcGIS/ESRI environment;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including image and geospatial analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software products;
* Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and other quality assurance activities to ensure that software meets high standards of quality and reliability;
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of software development, and share that knowledge with the team.
Minimum Requirements
* University degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 10 years of IT experience;
* At least 3 years of experience in Python and JavaScript development;
* Knowledge of ArcGIS SDK, the ESRI environment, PowerShell programming, and Jira will be an added asset;
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems;
* Excellent command of the English language.
