About the Role: All4Chefs Recruitment is partnering with an exclusive luxury lifestyle hotel located in the stunning Salzburg region. This unique property, set amidst the breathtaking Alpine landscape, provides a vibrant and inspiring work environment. The hotel is renowned for its innovative approach to hospitality, combining a sustainable and original design with outstanding service. Nestled directly on the ski slopes in winter and at the heart of Europe’s premier bike downhill trails in summer, this destination offers a distinctive experience for both guests and staff.
As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for crafting an exceptional breakfast experience that aligns with the hotel's "Essential Elements Kitchen" concept. This involves preparing a range of dishes catering to various dietary preferences, including traditional, vegetarian, and vegan options, ensuring every guest starts their day with a memorable culinary experience.
Requirements:
1. Completed apprenticeship as a chef.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury or high-end hotel.
3. Passion for breakfast service and creativity in menu development.
4. Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
6. Fluent in German (B1 level) and basic English (A2 level) or Good English B2 level if no knowledge of German.
7. Valid EU work permit (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and present high-quality breakfast dishes with a focus on freshness, seasonality, and diverse dietary needs.
2. Ensure timely and efficient service during breakfast hours, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
3. Collaborate with the culinary team to create and innovate breakfast menus that align with the hotel's unique concept.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
5. Manage breakfast inventory, monitor stock levels, and minimize waste.
6. Train and support kitchen staff and apprentices in breakfast preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
