This master’s thesis focuses on developing and implementing an interleaved converter specifically for battery pack testing. Electric vehicles rely on battery packs composed of hundreds of individual cells, each requiring continuous monitoring by a battery management system to ensure safe and efficient operation. To simulate realistic driving conditions, a high current and high bandwidth battery test system is essential. The insights gained will help in the design of future battery management systems.
During your thesis, you will:
1. Gain in-depth knowledge of interleaved converters and batteries
2. Enhance your expertise in power electronics and system design
3. Document and present your findings
The completion of a Master's thesis within the employment is possible and supported.
This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.
