Human Resources Director Germany, Switzerland & Austria
The Human Resources Director reports to the Managing Director Germany and Managing Director Switzerland and Austria, and functionally to HR Director Moët Hennessy EMEA. Additionally, the HR Director is part of the Leadership Team Moët Hennessy Germany. The role involves developing the organization to optimize business results, supporting managers to maximize performance, and fostering a positive work environment for employees with the core focus on Human Resources activities.
Job Responsibilities
The HR Director is responsible for driving high performance on the following elements in strong cooperation with the leadership team:
RESOURCING
1. Build high performing teams in each department working closely with the Leadership Teams of each market.
2. Enrich and further enlarge the MH AGS talent pool by recruiting a diverse skillset of international, high potential resources.
3. Source & select candidates for senior level vacancies across MH AGS.
4. Upskill the organisation with new capabilities needed for business growth.
TALENT DEVELOPMENT & RETENTION
1. Create and drive forward an HR Plan aligned with current and future business needs.
2. Create and deliver the annual training and development plans.
3. Develop & run in-house training programmes.
4. Lead the internal succession planning process and development plans.
REWARD
1. Manage the annual HR budgets including Overheads for Staff costs.
2. Lead the MPP (Management of Performance & Potential) Process.
3. Manage and optimise the benefit package offer, ensuring compelling communication.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
1. Ensure that the organisation’s vision and values are in line with the MH AGS and MH Europe strategy.
2. Lead all internal communication (announcements).
3. Define and implement all internal company events (Summer / Christmas Parties, Annual Company Conference).
COMPLIANCE
1. Ensure all HR procedures are legally compliant and in line with internal audit requirements.
2. Ensure all HR reporting is completed accurately & on time.
3. Ensure that all personal files, induction and training are legally compliant.
4. Management of Headcount/Payroll and related reporting.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
1. Foster and create an environment that encourages positive relationships in the workplace.
2. First contact person for all employees and managers. Advise with a hands-on approach to educate managers and employees in human relations skills such as supervision, evaluations, employee development, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, and effective group interaction.
3. Develop & implement best practice HR policies (Handbook and Policies Booklet) which are supportive of business needs & meet legal requirements.
4. Manage Employee Relations issues (Compromise Agreements, Disciplinary, Grievances) as they arise.
5. Conduct exit interviews for senior management.
6. Partner with the works council in Germany.
Profile
Professional Experience & Know-How:
1. Demonstrated experience of adding value.
2. Creative and agile.
3. Used to working in a large international organisation.
4. Up to date knowledge of German employment legislation. Knowledge of Austrian and Swiss employment legislation is a plus.
5. Compensation & Benefits understanding for an international context.
6. Minimum 12 years experience in HR generalist roles with at least 5 at managerial level.
7. Experience of working under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
Languages
1. German and English Mandatory.
2. Multiple languages is an asset.
