Senior Project Manager for EPCMv projects in process plant engineering (m/f/d)

For the successful implementation of projects (medium to large projects) in the process industry, we are looking for an experienced project manager. As a Senior Project Manager, you will use your organisational skills, communication skills and assertiveness to drive projects forward. In addition to overall budget responsibility, you will be responsible for successfully managing the project team, developing project and schedule plans, and communicating with all stakeholders involved.
Your tasks include:
1. Responsibility for the successful execution of medium to largescale projects
2. Defining the project execution strategy to achieve the project objectives
3. Leadership and steering of the entire project team
4. Main contact person to the customer project manager during the entire project phase, ongoing customer communication
5. Initiation of cost, risk and schedule controlling as well as responsibility for project reporting
6. Taking responsibility for safety in the project, ensuring compliance with EHS requirements
7. Ensure compliance with company procedures, standards and guidelines as well as the required quality in the project (QM & QC)
8. Set up and establish scope, change & risk management at all levels in the project
9. Manage workflow and internal communications to ensure relevant stakeholders are informed of project progress
10. Negotiate with customers and partners (suppliers) and be responsible for contract design/management
Our requirements:
1. Completed technical studies with focus on process engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, plant or mechanical engineering or equivalent education
2. Training in project management or PM certification is an advantage
3. Several years of relevant experience in the implementation of EPCM plant engineering projects in the process industry (biotech, pharmaceutical, chemical or similar).
4. Excellent technical and economic understanding of project processes and interrelationships
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills
6. Strong team orientation combined with commitment, flexibility and hands-on mentality
7. Strong assertiveness and enjoys working with different disciplines
8. Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
9. Willingness to travel (mainly in Europe)
