Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer - Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
The Bosch Engineering Center Linz is shaping the transformation of mobility through the development and production of innovative technologies for the entire powertrain in the market segments of electrification, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-highway.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Automotive Firmware Engineer to join our international team. As a senior firmware engineer, you will be responsible for the development of electronic components for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
* You will take a senior role in an international team of highly skilled embedded firmware engineers.
* You will guide and develop junior engineers, leveraging your experience and proficiency to lead by example.
* You will act as a Product Owner in our agile firmware development team, defining product requirements and ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders.
Your expertise will enable you to navigate the dynamic landscape of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, identify opportunities, and propose solutions to drive business success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including System Engineering, Firmware Architecture, Analog/Digital Circuit Design, Test Development, management, customers, and other firmware development teams to define optimal system partitioning and efficient implementation.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a trusting environment that fosters personal growth among team members. You should have several years of experience in developing and testing embedded firmware for automotive electronics products, adhering to industry standards such as MISRA-C, IATF 16949, ISO26262, ISO/SAE 21434, ASPICE, and more.
A university or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, embedded system design, or a related field is required. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential, with German being a plus.
