AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager US (f/m/d).In this position, you will drive the financial operations of our US entity, ensuring compliance with both local and international standards. You will oversee financial reporting, strategic analysis, and tax compliance, all while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.What Your Day To Day Will Look LikeManage the financial set-up of the US entity, ensuring that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met in conjunction with external advisors and internal stakeholdersOversee the initial financial structure and processes for the US subsidiary, establishing banking relationships, tax registrations and compliance frameworksLead financial planning & analysis as well as reporting for the US subsidiary, ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and UGB standardsWork with US and HQ teams on budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling to support strategic growthManage cross-border financial transactions, tax planning and currency risk to optimise financial performanceAct as the primary liaison between HQ and the US subsidiary on finance related issuesStreamline controlling, accounting, tax functions and operations to improve efficiency and financial performanceAct as the primary point of contact for external financial parties in the US, including accountants, tax advisors, banks and government agenciesEstablish and maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices to ensure financial integrityYour Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldWork experience: minimum of 5-7 years' experience in finance and controllingProven expertise in financial setup and operations in the USAnalytical thinking and experience in system optimisation and process harmonisationIn-depth knowledge of controlling, corporate finance and accountingKnowledge of US GAAP and strong experience in financial reporting, cost accounting and cash flow management is desirableStrong communication and interpersonal skills to act as a liaison between HQ and the US subsidiary, and with external financial partiesExperience of working in an international environment and intercultural communication skillsFluency in German and English is requiredOur OfferA position with personal responsibility and space for creativityOpen corporate culture with the opportunity to bring in your own ideasHighly motivated, agile, and international team with great opportunities for personal and professional developmentAttractive work environment with excellent career opportunities and flat hierarchiesCompetitive salary package plus bonus and various benefitsGross monthly salary provided for this function is a minimum of EUR 5.000.- based on full-time employment.
