About the Role:
As the Regional Retail Operations Manager, you will develop Sirrom’s retail (manned convenience, self-serve and vending) and bar product across multiple remote sites by supporting our site-based village managers throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
This role will develop a branded retail offer, so that it becomes a recognised and trusted (value for money) product that is not only profitable and continuously growing but becomes an attractive part of our remote hospitality business that supports our growth goals.
This is predominately a Monday to Friday fly-in-fly-out, site-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage retail and bar services at multiple remote sites, ensuring consistency and high standards across all locations.
* Lead and mentor site-level managers and bar/retail staff, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service and maintain operational standards.
* Oversee stock levels at all sites, coordinate ordering, and ensure compliance with procurement agreements and pricing in line with company policy / site agreement.
* Ensure the retail environment is well-organized, visually appealing, and properly stocked, with logical product placement and clear promotional materials. Develop and maintain planograms for each site. Ensure bar service aligns with licensing laws and hygiene standards.
* Monitor budgets across all sites, implement cost controls, and ensure financial targets are met, maintain pricing and conduct regular pricing reviews in line with tax excise dates.
Skills and Experience:
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a retail/bar management capacity across multiple locations or in a remote environment. Supermarket leadership experience will be highly regarded.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications required for the role include:
* Strong merchandising skills with the ability to create visually appealing displays.
* Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
* Approved Manager’s Licence and Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
* Current Australian driver’s licence (mandatory).
