Responsibilities:
* Write a doctoral thesis in educational sciences, family studies or youth studies, based on data from the international Longitudinal Three-Generations Study LifE.
* Help with planning, organizing, conducting, and analyzing research projects.
* Hold seminars and tutor students at the bachelor level.
* Attend further training to improve teaching abilities, knowledge on research methods, and expertise in educational sciences, family studies, and youth studies.
* Participate in conferences and contribute to publications of the research unit “Intergenerational Relations, Educational Research and Youth Studies.”
Required qualifications:
* Excellent master degree (or similar qualification) in educational sciences, family studies or youth studies.
* Special interest in educational sciences, family studies or youth studies.
* Good knowledge of quantitative methods of social sciences and statistics; experience in research is an advantage.
* Good command of English and German (level C1).
* High motivation, persistence, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
