Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Material Handling uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. May maintain records.
Responsibilities
1. Operate manual pallet jack
2. Use simple hand tools such as allen wrenches, pliers, scissors, and tape measure.
3. General housekeeping such as sweeping, brushing walls, empty trash.
Qualifications
4. 0-1 years of experience, preferred
5. High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
6. Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
7. Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
8. Works on basic and routine assignments
9. Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods
10. Adheres to all quality guidelines
11. Works under close supervision
12. All work is reviewed for accuracy
13. Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
