Business Development Consultant – WA Expansion
Kenmore Health Recruitment is growing, and we’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Development Consultant to drive our expansion within Western Australia, particularly within the private sector.
We’ve built a strong reputation for being transparent, people-focused, and genuinely invested in the nurses, midwives, and healthcare sites we work with. Now, we’re looking for someone to help us expand our reach into private hospitals, aged care, NGO services, corrections, and other private healthcare providers, forging strong partnerships and ensuring quality healthcare staffing solutions where they’re needed most.
About the Role
This is a 6-month contract role with the opportunity to extend, offering flexible working arrangements. You can be based in Perth office or in hybrid model, with part-time or full-time hours available.
As our Business Development Consultant, you’ll play a crucial role in strengthening our presence in WA’s private sector. You’ll work closely with aged care facilities, private hospitals, NGO healthcare services, and correctional health providers to identify staffing needs, build relationships, and position Kenmore Health Recruitment as the go-to agency for experienced, reliable healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive business growth by securing contracts within aged care, private hospitals, NGO services, and corrections across WA.
* Build and nurture relationships with healthcare providers and key decision-makers in the private sector.
* Work closely with our recruitment team to ensure we’re meeting the needs of both clients and healthcare professionals.
* Represent Kenmore Health Recruitment at industry events, networking functions, and healthcare forums.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain our reputation as an agency that truly understands healthcare staffing.
* Contribute to strategic planning to help shape the future of our WA operations.
What We Need You to Have
* Experience in a similar business development role – ideally in healthcare, but not essential.
* A proven track record of facilitating business growth, securing new contracts, and engaging clients.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
* A deep understanding of WA’s private healthcare landscape, including aged care, private hospitals, NGO services, and corrections (or a willingness to learn).
* Self-motivated, proactive, and excited by the challenge of growing a business.
* Ability to travel within WA as needed.
What We Offer
* Flexible working arrangements – this role can be based in the Perth office or performed in a hybrid model, with the option to be part-time or full-time.
* 6-month contract with the potential to extend.
* The opportunity to help shape the growth of a values-driven, people-first healthcare agency.
* A collaborative and supportive team that values honesty, integrity, and genuine connections.
* Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
* A role with real impact – supporting nurses, midwives, and healthcare providers to ensure quality care in the right places, at the right time.
If you’re looking for a meaningful opportunity to help shape the future of agency healthcare staffing in WA’s private sector, we’d love to hear from you!
