Program Manager (f/m/d)
As member of our global Program Management Office, you will be engaged in AOPs most important pipeline products from early-stage through commercialization. The position includes a dual role as Program - and Project Manager.
What your day to day will look like:
As a Program manager you oversee all projects and activities related to a program, including status, progress, risks, issues, and new opportunities. You will manage one or more projects within a program.
* Manage all activities within the program, prepare and execute program meetings, and ensure program documentation.
* Provide critical insights and drive Business Case development and opportunity evaluations, considering different scenarios with detailed financial data, cost, and benefit projections.
* Collaborate with BD to evaluate new opportunities, conduct feasibility assessments and due diligences and contribute to decision-making.
* Support the development of marketing & commercialization strategies.
* Identify cross-program challenges, contribute to PMO best practices, and support organizational initiatives.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, oversee key contracts, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
* Leverage oversight knowledge to support decision-making at the program, project, and strategic levels.
* Apply AOP Health project management guidelines, presenting regular updates, stage gates, and recommendations to senior management.
* Keep an eye on workforce planning and budget with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Work cooperatively across all levels in our matrix organization, maintaining positive relationships to achieve company goals.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
* University degree in Life Sciences or Economics
* At least 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Proven ability to manage complex programs and multiple projects in a cross-functional setting
* Knowledge of the drug development & commercialization process
* Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills (English)
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
* You are an outgoing, open minded and proactive team worker
* You are passionate about the field, highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
* Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects
* Speed and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
