We are looking for an individual to provide technical mentorship to engineers of lower levels of seniority by supporting them in the investigation and troubleshooting of long-term problems, short-term issues, and critical incidents at both the platform- and the component-level where appropriate. As such, the individual is expected to be competent at using combinations of evidence-based techniques in order to piece together a logical sequence of events, such as observing platform and component behaviour, analysing and interpreting time-series metrics, examining service and software component logs, referencing and understanding technical architectural diagrams, etc. with the intent to formulate and propose sensible and justifiable courses of action. Your tasks
* Deep knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies
* Support the stable deployability and operation of technical systems through effective process and procedure management
* Act as a point of contact for technical topics, facilitating collaboration between Systems Engineers and Software Engineers
* Adhere to security, compliance, and service availability policies
* Provide technical guidance to less experienced Systems Engineers
* Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
* Implement best practices for platform operation, service scalability, and high availability
* Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities
Your profile
* Experience with DevOps tools (GitLab, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, Jira, Confluence)
* Operational and developmental experience with C# / .NET systems
* Familiarity with ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
* Understanding of CI/CD processes and techniques
* Knowledge of Agile development methods
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with tools like Config Watcher Service
* Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and Confluence
* Fluency in English; German is a plus
