Are you a passionate hospitality leader ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for dynamic Village Managers and Assistant Village Managers to oversee the efficient, high-standard delivery of services in our village operations—including Catering, Cleaning, Facilities Management, Administration, and Mine Site Cleaning.
About the role:
As a Village Manager or Assistant Village Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. You’ll manage client relationships on-site, lead a high-performing team, and uphold contract compliance while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

1. Oversee daily village operations with a focus on efficiency and quality
2. Lead, motivate, and support a team to deliver outstanding hospitality services
3. Build and maintain strong site-level client relationships
4. Champion a safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with SOPs
5. Manage resourcing, rosters, and cost controls to optimise performance
6. Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and improve service delivery
7. Foster team development, cross-skilling, and performance excellence
8. Recognise and reward top performers to build engagement and morale
To be considered:
1. Proven excellent experience in managing mining camp/village operations or a strong hospitality management background (Highly Desirable)
2. Inspirational leadership with a track record of motivating and managing teams of 50+ staff
3. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
4. Must have a valid police check issued within the last 3 months or be willing to obtain one.
5. Must pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Functional Assessment
6. Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
7. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to site on a FIFO roster
Strong customer service focus with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Solid understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards with a commitment to building a strong safety culture.
Solutions-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
Highly organised, outcome-driven, and focused on meeting deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong relationship management skills to foster client trust and satisfaction.
Clear, confident communicator – verbal, written, and in presentations.
* Very competitive Annual Wage: $ 110,000 - $140,000 + super
* Lifestyle roster - 8 days on, 6 days off
* Full time Employment
* All flights to and from site, and all meals and accommodation whilst onsite paid for
