Pharmareferent as Key Account Manager (m/f/d) - Austria
About the Role:
As part of our client's continued expansion and their role as a key partner in medicine commercialization, we are excited to offer a newly created position for a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) to join the team in Austria. This role will focus on East Austria, ideally based in Vienna, and report to the Director Sales DACH.
The Key Account Manager will be fully accountable for sales, local market access, and product adoption within the designated territory. You will be responsible for positioning the products and effectively communicating their clinical and economic benefits to healthcare professionals. The role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative environment, working across a matrix structure to achieve shared business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Detail and promote a portfolio of innovative medicines, specialty generics, biosimilars, and originator brands in key therapeutic areas.
* Engage with targeted healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive disease and product information.
* Gather and report field insights to inform strategy and drive success.
* Develop and implement key account and regional plans aligned with company goals.
* Achieve business objectives within the designated territory by driving product adoption and expanding market access.
* Leverage a blend of multi-channel tools to enhance customer engagement and disease awareness, ensuring more patients receive the right treatments.
* Propose innovative, customer-focused solutions to address local market needs and create business value.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategy and maximize impact.

Experience & Competences:
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales within the specialty care medicines market in Austria.
* Ideally a successful track record of product launches in the pharmaceutical market.
* Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
* Ideally experience in project and account management, with the ability to execute plans efficiently.
Knowledge & Skills:
* In-depth understanding of the Austrian hospital and office-based healthcare landscape, particularly in the Eastern region.
* Familiarity with patient pathway design and an ability to support its optimization.
