Job Description
The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Digitalization Manager who has the technological skills to support projects in our factories (e.g. the implementation of fully automated assembly lines) from IT-perspective. Modern factory environments utilize a lot of automation equipment and monitoring devices to ensure proper quality of manufactured products and factory equipment generates a lot of data which need to be integrated in VusionGroup’s backend systems (mainly to ensure traceability and quality control). Moreover you will analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades and provide training. The ideal candidate has good knowledge of Business Analysis, project management, supplier management in the area of electronics manufacturing operations and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The Digitalization Manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.
* Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs (vendor and internal)
* Leverage Global IT Solutions whenever possible
* Lead and Follow IT projects execution from Business Requirements to Production, including participating to the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
* Steer Committee with vendors to review performance, IT/cyber risks and quality of service
* Ensure process compliance with Group Requirements
* Monitor performance of information technology (vendor and internal) systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
* Help define Business Processes & IT architecture
* Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to Manufacturing Services and internal IT
Qualifications
Experience:
* 5+ years of experience working in IT operations
* Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Business Processes and Factory Digitization/Automation ideally in the area electronics manufacturing. Ideally experience with assembly process automation projects
* Experience leading and managing and rolling out IT projects across various technologies (infrastructures and software).
* Experience working across business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver outcomes
* Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems (mainly databases and data exchange)
* Good working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, data storage systems, and phone systems
Skills:
* Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
* Project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
* Ability to understand IT enterprise architecture and all business processes
Education:
* MSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related Engineering, or equivalent experience
Additional Information
For the advertised position, a KV minimum basic salary of 4,215.00 euros gross per month applies, with readiness for KV overpayment depending on actual qualifications (for full-time employment).
