About the Role:
Our business operates within the trade industry. We are currently in a high growth phase and have a strong foundation with a large, secure client base providing consistent revenue monthly via repeat business. Our sales team adds new clientele daily with minimal losses. There is still a potential avalanche of new clientele available in the marketplace, particularly in the franchise sector. Our sales team establishes and manages third-party relationships, including large franchises that are mostly underdeveloped. Currently, about 20% of the 250 franchises are on board, and this 20% is already financially lucrative to our company.
As the person in charge, your position includes working with your management team of 8 who collectively manage 40 staff members across several departments. You will manage the performance of the management team, set goals and targets, monitor their performance, ensuring alignment with company values, and steer the organisation towards further growth.
Position Description:
* The Leadership Team that reports to you includes: Sales Director, Head of Trade Service 1, Head of Trade Service 2, Head of Construction, Office and Maintenance Department Manager, Scheduling Manager, Head of Finance, Head of HR.
* Manage Team Performance:
o Collaborate with managers to establish, monitor, and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
o Assess team performance through regular reporting from managers and ensure effective performance management practices.
o Support managers in implementing accountability measures and planning for key business milestones.
* Organisational Growth:
o Provide oversight of the leadership team for 3 newly developed departments during the implementation phase.
o Ensure HR and OHS policies are developed and implemented according to schedule.
o Attend and evaluate regular meetings organised by managers to ensure compliance and quality execution.
* Financial Oversight:
o Work closely with the accounts team and CFO to regularly assess profit and loss statements (P&L).
o Collaborate with the directors to facilitate actionable outcomes from financial reviews.
* Risk Management:
o Identify risks by assessing potential threats to the business and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
o Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain and further develop company culture:
o Uphold organisational values by promoting and embedding the company’s core values across the organisation.
o Drive employee engagement by building and maintaining a positive workplace culture and fostering team collaboration.
Salary Package: Base salary $180,000 plus Super plus Vehicle Allowance $15,000 and additional Bonuses based on achievable KPI’s. Job security and a long future with our company, future salary reviews, overseas travel once a year.
