About the Role
As the Growth and Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the strategic and operational delivery of Netball Victoria’s competitions and events, working to grow participation and enhance spectator engagement. This pivotal role involves fostering innovation, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and driving process improvements to align with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to increase participation and engagement in Netball Victoria’s competitions, including Fury and VNL games.
* Operational Excellence: Oversee event delivery, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with governance standards.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with venue managers, partners, and stakeholders to optimise event outcomes.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
* Innovation: Identify opportunities to enhance competition formats and participant experiences.
About You
We’re seeking a driven and innovative leader who thrives on delivering exceptional events and experiences.
What You’ll Bring:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in sports management, business, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in operations, event management, or competition delivery in the sporting industry.
* Proven leadership and people management experience.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* An understanding of Netball Victoria’s strategic priorities and a dedication to diversity and inclusion.
