About the role
As the Marketing Manager of DENZA Brand, you will be responsible for building the brand from 0-1 and driving sales in the local market. This position plays a critical role in marketing planning and analysis, localization, public relations management, dealer marketing supervision, and budget steering, requiring strong collaboration abilities.
The Key responsibilities will be:
* Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute regional marketing strategies and annual plans for the brand, aligning with business objectives and Global Marketing Strategic Guidelines.
* Brand Promotion and Awareness: Collaboratively work with the European PR and Event team for all marketing activities execution in the region such as National Events, advertising, and digital campaigns to enhance brand awareness and influence.
* Public Relations: Maintain a good relationship with press, media, agencies, and social influencers in relation to the PR Manager to ensure visibility and reputation of the brand and product stories, and handle public relations issues promptly.
* Dealer Marketing Management: Supervise Dealer Marketing Plans and executions and provide dealers with marketing support and guidance.
* Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research on the region and monitor competitor activities. Conduct post-event analysis to understand the effectiveness of actions and feed this information into the marketing plan process.
* Budget Management: Take responsibility for steering the marketing budget, ensuring the rational use of marketing funds and optimizing ROI.
* Brand Ambassador: Be the brand ambassador of the region within the industry and key media.
* Localization and Compliance Management: Ensure dealer websites, signage, and any marketing materials are localized, up to date, and in compliance with BYD CI policy.
* Additional Responsibilities: Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Country Manager and senior management to support the company’s growth objectives.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
* University Degree in Marketing, Sales, or commercial disciplines.
* Solid experience in the automotive industry or branded retail products.
* 8+ years of experience in roles related to marketing management in the automotive business.
* Excellent digital skills.
* Customer-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
* Resilient and open-minded.
* Results-oriented with the ability to work to deadlines, hands-on approach, motivated to get results.
* Effective and eloquent communicator in English, German, and French languages is mandatory (Other European languages and/or Mandarin Chinese would be a plus).
