As Site Project Manager (m/f/d), your working day starts at an industrial construction site. You will plan and organize the daily site activities together with your team. You will be the primary contact for customers, authorities, contractors, and partners at the construction site. You will align and work closely with the project management and project team in the back office.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Overall responsibility for all onsite works within the responsibility of Siemens Project Entity, Erection & Commissioning team (SE PE EC)
* Legal responsibility for the project site and all site staff
* You ensure compliance with the requirements, regulations, and procedures governing occupational environmental health and safety (EHS) and promote and lead the Zero Harm Culture for the scope within your responsibility
* Representation of the interests of Project Management on site to the customer, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants
* Responsibility for the on-site order implementation, financial results, time schedule, and quality results related to the Siemens Energy scope of work by using standardized tools
What You Bring
* Extensive experience in construction of complex industrial projects (preferably for High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) power transmission projects) - EPC and/or Consortium projects
* Willingness to work in and outside of Austria at construction sites
* At least 5 years of onsite experience in a leading position (Electrical/Civil site lead) on major construction sites; Knowledge of Construction/Commissioning processes and methodologies
* In-depth knowledge and competence in EHS policies, practices, regulations, and plans for onsite works for complex construction projects.
* Proven experience in leading multinational teams in a quickly changing environment and excellent communication and leadership skills
* Education degree in an electrical or civil engineering discipline
* PM Certification is a plus (e.g., IPMA)
* Advanced German and good English skills

At Siemens Energy, we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualifications. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise, and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 50,000 € gross/year for a full-time position (38.5 h/week).
