As an Account Manager in our Residential team, you will report to the Residential Sales Manager and the role will be based on the Gold Coast.
You will improve the profitability of your territory by developing and fostering new and existing partnerships. You will drive the growth of key customers and new business opportunities to achieve profit and growth for PPG across the GC and surrounds!
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and improving the customer service propositions in line with our brand strategies
* Leading, maintaining, and growing a portfolio of key trade accounts
* Collaborating with trade applicators, stores and residential builders
* Achieving sales, growth, and profit targets
* Delivering high level customer relationship management that promotes service excellence and customer retention
Qualifications
* Previous Account Management experience preferably within the building materials market
* Working alone and prioritising your own day is how you work best, but you will also be happy to engage and work with your team to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and PPG!
* Excellent communication skills - you will easily establish trust and make people feel comfortable with your easy-going approach
* You will be open, honest and be authentic in your dealings
* A proven record in building new relationships, or accounts and growing existing business
* Current Driver’s license
