Overview of Role
Reporting to the EMEA Marketing Director, as the Retail Marketing Specialist EMEA you will champion the BOAFit System and translate our brand promise—Dialedin. Precisionfit.—into inspiring, measurable education and activation programs across brick‑and‑mortar and digital retail channels. You will empower front‑line shop professionals to become true experts and vocal advocates of our technology, while driving mid‑ to long‑term initiatives that enhance the performance positioning, visibility and placement of the BOA brand and BOA‑powered products in these retail/e‑tail environments, ultimately boosting sell‑through and consumer loyalty across the EMEA region.
Core Responsibilities
* Be the BOA expert on the European sporting/workwear retail sectors with a specific focus on how BOA can effectively build best-in-class product knowledge as well as BOA brand and product awareness in physical and online stores in a scalable way. This will include building strategic relationships with BOA’s top ‘epicenter’ stores to deliver critical first-hand insights and disseminating these to all global stakeholders (Marketing, IDMs, Commercial, Product, Customer Support).
* Manage and monitor the digital BOA Partner Portal which is BOA’s B2B platform for retailers and brand partners and help grow the portal sign-ups and engagement metrics according to global/local KPIs.
* Work closely with global marketing to support in the development of impactful content and communication plans and the associated creative assets (Text, Video, Imagery etc.) needed to effectively populate all channels.
* Further develop existing industry/segment training materials and create new materials for emerging segments.
* Work seamlessly with the Brand Partner Marketing Manager to ensure (digital) education and engagement needs are catered to and the resulting tools are appropriately leveraged by Brand Partners and their organisations.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to provide critical regional insight and feedback on the technical development of all global CRM/Analytics tools.
* Build and maintain the European retail database, leveraging technical tools and platforms provided by the company.
* Co-develop and maintain a portfolio of physical merchandise (POS tools, BOA gear etc) to support the relevant programs and initiatives.
* Handle all aspects of our retail/e-tail partnerships including the definition, establishment and execution of any formal agreements.
* Own the operational planning and execution of all retail, brand partner and BOA employee retail education and engagement activities, leveraging internal experts as well as a network of freelance technical reps to support your personal on-ground efforts.
* Ensure maximum impact and efficiency of the overall retail marketing program through clearly established KPIs and a regular reporting and review framework.
* Own a rolling three‑year retail education roadmap aligned with Marketing, Product and Commercial goals.
* Lead annual budget planning for all training and advocacy programs.
Required Qualifications
* An active BOA user, or interest/participation in a number of sports within BOA’s core product focuses (Snowsports, Cycling, Trailrunning, Mountaineering …).
* A deep passion for technical products and their story (market opportunity, research, design, testing and validation, end-user benefit etc).
* Tertiary education (Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Sales or similar) OR several years of experience working on the floor, or representing brands in a retail/e-tail environment selling soft/hard goods. Preferably in the sporting goods industry.
* Experience in the creation of educational material and the training of staff.
* A data driven mindset with the ability to spot trends/themes and disseminate insights.
* Driven, highly organised, flexible and hands-on.
* Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse constituants.
* An open personality, comfortable with interacting and presenting to different audiences.
* A willingness to travel approximately 25%.
* Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening/weekend work to attend trainings and events.
* Fluent in German and English; a third European language would be highly appreciated.

Legal Statement
For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement, which is from 2303.- EUR gross per month. However, our attractive salary packages are based on current market salaries and are therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary, depending on your experience and skills.
