Overview Of Role
Dual reporting to the VP/GM EMEA and the VP of Global Marketing, this role will lead a team of 6-8 regional marketers. This role will be an integral member of our Global Marketing Leadership Team that sets overarching brand marketing strategy and direction, as well as be responsible for developing EMEA regional plans that build the BOA brand, create consumer demand, and deliver our overarching organizational growth goals. This role will define and execute targeted marketing activities across focus EMEA geographies, including brand partner, retail, sponsorship, events, PR/media, and D2C digital initiatives that inspire consumers to get dialed in and perform at their peak. The ideal candidate will be a strong strategic thinker, a meticulous operational manager and an inspirational leader who can cultivate an inclusive, cohesive, and high performing team dynamic.
Core Responsibilities
1. Lead as a critical member of the Marketing Leadership team by contributing to the development of strategy and defining needed infrastructure, tools and process to support the successful achievement of regional plans/KPIs.
2. Reflect and role model BOA’s vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the EMEA team and rest of the organization.
3. Lead, coach and develop the Marketing team in all aspects of strategy, brand relevance and marketing execution, so they are setup for success and understand their priority focus areas.
4. Work with direct reports to set and review performance/development goals, discuss feedback regularly throughout the year, and formally summarize during mid/year-end reviews.
5. Design and develop the EMEA marketing operational plan and budget that drive the company's B2B and B2C strategies within the region, setting KPIs that achieve the right outcomes and regularly measuring impact to improve performance.
6. Collaborate with North American and APAC Marketing Directors to ensure regional plans and execution support the global marketing strategies.
7. Lead the socialization of EMEA marketing planning including up, down and across the organization with key stakeholders.
8. Support the global creative and digital teams with regional connectivity, execution and analysis.
9. Ensure consistent implementation of BOA's brand standards, ensuring appropriate voice and messaging is executed by Brand and Retail Partners in the marketplace.
10. Ensure BOA is positioned as an aspirational and performance driven brand through strategic athlete and opinion leader relationships.
11. Establish and maintain ongoing contact with endemic media, ensuring they are equipped to correctly communicate the BOA brand and benefits through their ongoing editorial work.
12. Oversee all external agency relationships and contractual obligations.
Required Qualifications
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing or Communications related field of study.
2. A high level of proficiency in both English and German. Additional languages are a plus.
3. Demonstrated marketing leadership experience with the ability to translate complex business strategy into clear and actionable plans.
4. Proven success in building, leading and inspiring diverse, high-performing teams.
5. A strategic mindset with the proven ability to balance the achievement of operational plans and KPIs with long-term business outcomes.
6. The ability to inspire confidence and quickly capture the trust and respect of the business, as well as key external partners.
7. Expertise in building integrated B2C/B2B marketing plans with an established history of marketing measurement, including brand and performance media.
8. Strong financial acumen with the ability to build and manage complex budgets.
9. Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work and lead within ambiguity.
10. Experience and comfort delivering engaging public presentations.

Legal Statement
For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement, which is from 3038.- EUR gross per month. However, our attractive salary packages are based on current market salaries and are therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary, depending on your experience and skills.
