Job Description:
Are you a talent acquisition expert who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment? Do you excel at identifying top talent and shaping recruitment strategies that drive business success? If so, join Western Union on a 10-month fixed-term contract (FTC) as a maternity cover and contribute to our mission of delivering a seamless cross-border money movement experience.
Western Union powers your pursuit.
As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a crucial role within our Regional Talent Acquisition team, managing end-to-end hiring for a variety of roles—ranging from entry-level to senior leadership—across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EMEA). This is an opportunity to partner with business leaders, shape recruitment strategies, and contribute to our company’s success by attracting top talent.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Drive full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
2. Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, advise on best hiring practices, and present top candidates.
3. Leverage innovative sourcing strategies, talent pipelines, and recruitment technologies to attract high-quality talent.
4. Manage the offer process, ensuring smooth coordination of pre-employment documentation and compliance requirements.
5. Utilize data-driven insights to track hiring performance and improve recruitment processes.
6. Navigate complex recruitment challenges with minimal supervision while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Role Requirements:
1. Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced, multinational environment (in-house or RPO experience is a plus, along with exposure to the financial services sector).
2. Strong expertise in sourcing tools, job boards, and recruitment technologies (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter).
3. Excellent relationship-building skills, with a candidate-centric mindset and a track record of collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders at local and global levels.
4. Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and leverage data to inform decision-making and optimize hiring strategies.
5. Experience working in SLA-driven environments with the ability to manage multiple requisitions efficiently.
6. Experience working in Austria and/or Germany is essential.
7. Fluency in English and German is required.
We are under legal obligation to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 57.300,00 gross per year for this position. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
You will also have access to short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few. Please see the location-specific benefits below and note that your Recruiter may share additional role-specific benefits during your interview process or in an offer of employment.
