Night Shift Factory Manager - Rotating Roster, Braeside
Location: Woodlands Drive and Lower Dandenong Road Braeside, Melbourne
Hours of Work: Full-time, 7pm-3am (may vary), 76-hour fortnight

The Role:
A great opportunity is now available to join our manufacturing team at our Braeside facilities. In this role, you will help to maintain our exceptional product standards by managing our night shift production within the manufacturing sites. We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Night Factory Manager, with experience in the Food/FMCG sector.
You will lead the production and packing team in this hands-on role and will have the ability to make decisions autonomously during your shift with complete control of the Factory during this time. You will ensure company quality standards are adhered to and corrective action is taken when needed, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
This role is pivotal in allowing us to continue to provide all our cafés, customers, and export chains with high-quality products each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations:
* Be fully accountable for the manufacturing operation end-to-end.
* Lead and co-ordinate resources to ensure the site is run efficiently, including identifying and exploring efficiencies with a major focus on continual improvement.
* Ensure compliance with required OH&S, Quality, GMP, HACCP, Hygiene, and Food Safety policies.
* Provide strong, hands-on leadership to ensure each night’s production targets are delivered in full and on time with minimal quality issues.
* Notify and investigate quality and safety incidents with appropriate corrective actions delivered.
* Take responsibility for OH&S, focusing on LTI and Incident frequency reduction year on year.
Team Development:
* Continually improve the development of the team, processes, and efficiencies; enabling the broader business to achieve its strategic growth plans.
* Improve the culture and focus on team development.
Other:
* Adhoc duties as required.
The Successful Candidate:
* Have at least five years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry, including at least four years’ experience in a management capacity.
* Being a qualified Chef is highly desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
* Proven ability to manage working relationships across production, planning, and warehouse operations.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* A team player.
