About the team
Community Services have a wide range of responsibilities, including coordinating civic events, management of the library and recreation facilities, provision of recreation and volunteering programs, support of community groups and initiatives and provide opportunities for community inclusion and connection.
About the role
The Manager Community Services position is responsible for providing strategic and effective leadership and management of the Town’s community services business unit ensuring consistently high service delivery aligned to the Town’s goals and vision.
About you
* Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and effective leadership to the team/s
* Demonstrated experience in leading and directing the operations of community services to ensure the provision of a high quality and valued customer focused experience (both internal and external) is delivered to the organisation and its customers
* Possession of, or progress towards Tertiary qualifications in Community Development or related discipline.
* Current Police clearance and C class Drivers Licence

Salary and Benefits
This permanent, full-time position attracts an annual salary up to $120,000 + plus superannuation. The Town also offers up to 4% additional superannuation (conditions apply), 17.5% leave loading, free parking, ongoing training and professional development, and up to two additional leave days per calendar year.
Working Hours
This is a permanent full-time role, 76 hours a fortnight, Monday to Friday. Flexibility options such as variable start/finish times are options and may be negotiated for this role.
