Job Description:
The OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine (SPU) has been established to support the Ukrainian Government's reform efforts and mitigate the increased risks to civilians caused by the war. The objective of the SPU is to support Ukraine across all three OSCE dimensions regarding government reform efforts and evolving risks to civilians, ensuring that OSCE's work continues to positively impact the institutions and people of Ukraine.
The SPU's communication and visibility efforts aim to highlight its contribution to OSCE's overall response to Ukraine's challenges posed by the war and crisis, ensuring that beneficiaries and the public are aware of the SPU's objectives, activities, and results.
The SPU is planned to run until 31 July. Post extension is subject to fund availability and project duration extension.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare monthly thematic social media content plans including flagship events;
2. Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content with compelling visual and audio elements;
3. Work with project teams to highlight achievements and impacts, writing and gathering editorial content for web and social media;
4. Update social media content daily across all channels with quality assurance;
5. Engage with followers, monitor campaigns, and analyze data;
6. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media;
7. Ensure proper visibility of the OSCE SPU brand across all communication assets;
8. Manage small budgets for multimedia production and social media advertising.
Necessary Qualifications:
1. Secondary education supplemented by formal training in communications/media/journalism or project management;
2. A minimum of 6 years of experience in delivering creative content as a copywriter or content manager for social media;
3. Experience as a social media manager or similar role;
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
5. Demonstrated experience in maintaining social media accounts, especially Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram;
6. Expertise in graphic design for digital media;
7. Experience drafting texts clearly in Ukrainian and English;
8. Experience measuring engagement on social media platforms;
9. Experience working with journalists and media professionals is an asset;
10. Digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office;
11. Skills in photography and/or videography are an asset;
12. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Ukrainian.
Remuneration Package:
Monthly remuneration is USD 1, subject to social security deductions; salary payment is in EUR. Social benefits include participation in Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
