DHI is committed to disseminate our knowledge effectively and across our worldwide network of offices.Responsibilities and challengesThe main responsibilities and challenges in the job are:Perform coastal processes modelling and analysis such as hydrodynamics, waves, sediment transport as needed on a variety of coastal related projects using MIKE by DHI software (MIKE 21/3 HD, MIKE 21 SW, MIKE 21 MT, MIKE 21 ST).Assist in writing technical reports and presentations.Be a team player and able to learn new skills through in-office training and continuing knowledge transfer among the team members.Support the Project Manager/Team Leader in the delivery of the technical aspects of the project.Qualifications and personal skillsEssential qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant civil/coastal engineering discipline.Knowledge and skills:Excellent analytical skills, including familiarity with analytical tools and coastal modelling tools.At least 2-5 years related experience and good knowledge of coastal hydraulic principles.Ability to conceive, organize, articulate, resource, and manage complex coastal related projects/proposals, involving multiple partners and consultants.Working experience on any of the MIKE by DHI software (MIKE 21/3 HD, MIKE 21 SW, MIKE 21 MT, MIKE 21 ST) will be considered favorably.Competent in ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS.Knowledge and experience working on vessel mooring analysis/modelling is an added advantage.Experience working in large, complex, international projects is an added advantage.Programming skills (Python or MATLAB, etc.) are required.Superlative written and oral communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.Exceptional interpersonal skills.We offerTo work at DHI means being part of an organization that is the global leader in solving the world’s toughest challenges in water environment.
