The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT professional to join our Global Information Systems Group. This team is responsible for delivering best-in-class information system solutions and services that support users globally.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain high-quality IT service levels, ensuring the smooth operation of PCs and IT infrastructure environment on a daily basis.
* Ensure adherence to IT standards and execute them accordingly.
* Assist in the roll-out and integration of new business applications.
* Provide desk-side support, helping end-users with office software and hardware-related issues.
* Serve as a communication interface between regions and the IT organization regarding IT-related matters.
* Identify and address specific IT issues and problems, escalating them to the IT organization for resolution.
* Integrate and maintain hardware and computer equipment into an asset management system.
Requirements
* A relevant technical college degree (HTL) or equivalent work experience.
* Working knowledge of network infrastructure, including IPV4, IPV6, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
* Prioritization and analytical skills, with the ability to approach tasks logically.
* Physical stamina to perform tasks such as moving or lifting computers.
* A strong customer service ethic and ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally.
