Through close collaboration with the Marketing, Product, CPD, and Commercial teams in both Europe and the HQ in Denver, you will help identify and leverage product and performance innovation stories from the BOA world and bring these to our key constituants (Industry Experts, Brand Partners, Retailers, and Consumers) through carefully selected media channels and partnerships. You will lead a diverse portfolio of PR & Media projects and events across Germany, Italy, France, Spain, UK, and further European markets as required, via a mix of agency and direct relationships. This pivotal and exciting role within a rapidly growing organization will require a strong knowledge of the European sporting goods & workwear industry, a passion for technical products, and a successful track record of concepting, developing, and executing integrated communications projects.Core ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Global PR/Marketing organization to ensure regional nuances are considered in the creation of global strategy, tools, and assets.Work closely with the EMEA Marketing Director to develop and execute highly integrated PR & Media operating plans that are on time, on budget, and deliver against Regional/Global KPIs.Maintain an expert understanding of the European media landscape and build strategic relationships with the outlets critical to achieving BOA's short and long-term industry goals.Support the Marketing Director in the media planning and buying for specific paid campaigns.Own the development of regionally specific PR/Media related creative content and tools such as press kits, seeding material, advertorials, print, and online assets that align with BOA’s brand strategy.Plan and execute regional PR showrooms, key media office visits, PR product launch events, and trade show activities.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Product, CPD, and Commercial teams to build an in-depth knowledge of product/performance innovation, ensuring all external communication is highly targeted, carefully curated, and credible.Lead, manage, and evaluate ongoing agency partnerships and activities.Ensure maximum impact and efficiency of the overall PR/Media program through clearly established KPIs, a detailed annual planning process, and a regular reporting framework.Required QualificationsActive interest/participation in a number of sports within BOA’s core product focus (Cycling, Trailrunning, Mountaineering, and Snowsports…) and high interest in the workwear sector.A genuine curiosity to understand BOA’s technical products, applications, and benefits.Bachelor’s degree in PR, Journalism, Communication, or Marketing.5+ years of experience working in PR / Communications, ideally linked to the sports industry.Fluency in German and English; a third European language would be highly appreciated.Experience managing and executing projects across multiple European countries.Competence in media segmentation, planning & buying.Excellent copy-writing skills and a sharp eye for overall creative execution.A highly organized, flexible, and hands-on approach.Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse constituants.An open personality, comfortable with interacting and presenting to different audiences.Occasional flexibility for evening / weekend work to attend trade shows and events.We OfferChallenging tasks in a successful and innovative company based in the beautiful lake area of Salzkammergut.A welcoming working environment in a committed and international team of employees.Learning and development opportunities.Flexible working hours.Amazing company activities and events.Lease a bike program.Competitive compensation package.Legal StatementFor legal reasons, we are obliged to point out the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement, which is from 2367.- EUR gross per month.
