We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations & Marketing Specialist to oversee our corporate marketing, media relations, and brand positioning. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution abilities, capable of managing a wide range of PR and communications tasks to enhance our corporate reputation, support sales initiatives, and engage stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive PR and Marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and corporate reputation.
2. Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, and press events.
3. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling narratives for our properties.
4. Oversee crisis communication strategies to manage potential PR issues and safeguard the company’s reputation.
5. Cultivate relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
6. Organize promotional events and community engagement initiatives.
7. Monitor industry trends and provide insights to support brand positioning.
Corporate Communications & Branding
1. Develop and maintain a consistent corporate brand voice across all communication channels, including website, press materials, and corporate presentations.
2. Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, brochures, reports, and newsletters to support business objectives.
3. Write and edit high-quality content, including speeches, executive messages, thought leadership articles, and industry insights.
4. Ensure alignment between internal and external communications to reinforce key brand messages.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, industry associations, investors, and key stakeholders.
2. Plan and execute community engagement initiatives and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to strengthen the company’s public image.
3. Organize and manage public events, project launches, media briefings, and networking functions to promote company developments.
Digital & Social Media Communications
1. Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company’s digital presence through PR campaigns, social media, and content marketing.
2. Manage the company’s reputation on social media platforms, responding to public feedback and coordinating influencer collaborations.
3. Track and analyze PR campaign effectiveness, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize future strategies.
Experience & Skills
1. 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media management, preferably in real estate, luxury brands, hospitality, or related industries.
2. Proven ability to develop and execute PR campaigns that drive media coverage and audience engagement.
3. Strong media relations network with journalists, editors, and key influencers in Australia.
4. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases, articles, and corporate communications.
5. Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
6. Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape, government relations, and property development industry.
7. Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
8. At least bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience working in a real estate or property development company.
2. Familiarity with social media strategy and digital PR tools.
3. Previous experience handling government relations or investor communications is a plus.
