The Hospitality Supervisor and Team Leader will be part of our Venue Hospitality Leadership Team and will contribute to delivering World-Class, unmissable experiences for all.
Hospitality Supervisor - Full Time
We are looking for a Hospitality Supervisor who can handle big events, over 500 guests, and extensive experience in training our casual staff to deliver memorable events for our guests. The Hospitality Supervisor will provide Hospitality experiences at Adelaide Oval and external venues, including but not limited to Adelaide Oval Functions & Events and Corporate Suites & Facilities.
What you will be doing:
* Lead the FOH team members to deliver large-scale functions.
* Ensure all details of functions are followed according to the event brief and meet guest expectations.
* Liaising with floor and kitchen teams to ensure smooth delivery of events.
* Recruitment and supervision of staff members, including induction and training as required.
* Liaising directly with the management team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
* Provide hands-on leadership across a 7-day roster for events of multiple styles, sizes and timeframes, including all major event days.
Team Leader - Full Time
The Team Leader role is ideal for someone who has Leadership capabilities and is looking to elevate yourself from a Hospitality Attendant to a Team Leader. You will be working alongside the Venue Hospitality Leadership Team, who can provide you with development opportunities to develop your career.
What you will be doing:
* Assisting with running large Functions alongside the Hospitality Supervisor and Assistant Manager.
* Running small functions while leading a team.
* Lead a team on set-up shifts to ensure the area is set in line with guest expectations.
* Assisting with providing junior team members with on-the-job training.
* Working with the Leadership Team to drive engagement.
* Provide hands-on leadership across a 7-day roster for events of multiple styles, sizes and timeframes, including all major event days.
To be successful in these roles, you will have:
* Experience in the Hospitality industry, preferably with convention and banquet environments.
* Anticipating and resolving guest needs.
* Understanding of dietary requirements for our guests.
* A Responsible Person Badge.
* Demonstrating strong leadership skills and managing a large and diverse workforce.
* Ability to use technology to generate shift reports and use app-based software.
* Have a passion for Food and Wine.
