This is not only a software upgrade but a major process and cultural change project, which will only succeed by putting our people first.Overview & BenefitsWork on a large ERP implementation project for Penrith City Council, accountable for the successful business transformation and change management activities3-year Fixed-Term contract, working full-time hoursAnnual Base Salary of $200,000 to $250,000 + 11.5% super + access to a leaseback vehicle or vehicle allowanceAccess to annual leave, sick leave and many more benefitsAccess to flexi-time (gaining up to 1 day-off per fortnight)Penrith City Council prioritise flexibility, recognising the importance of work-life balance, hence offering excellent flexible working arrangements, this includes the ability to regularly work from home, and flexible start/finish times.The RoleWork in partnership with the ‘ICT Project Delivery Manager’ to ensure the successful delivery of a Tier One project for Penrith City Council – aimed at modernising and transforming the way Council runs its business by implementing new Enterprise Resource Planning systems.As the ‘Organisational Transformation Project Manager’ we are not looking for an IT specialist, we are looking for someone to manage the business transformation side of the project. This includes activities such as business needs analysis, process improvement, change management and employee engagement. You will provide professional excelled project management, leadership, and expertise during every phase of the implementation, while fostering and facilitating collaborative and positive relationships with stakeholders, team members and vendors.Initially, you will lead the project planning phase and prepare the organisation for the change, before diving into project delivery. You will get to work with many diverse teams across our organisation and connect with the numerous talented individuals who make up Penrith City Council. This position reports into the ‘Head of Business Excellence’ and manages a direct team of 2 staff: ERP Functional Lead and ERP Change Lead.About YouTo be considered, you will bring with you:Qualifications in Business, Project Management, Change Management, Psychology or relevant field.Proven project management experience in leading and delivering large, complex transformational projects comprising process, people, data and systems transformation, using both agile and traditional project management methodologies.Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.The ability to articulate complex ideas into easy-to-understand business terms suitable for stakeholder at all levels.Tenacity to bring a 'can do’ delivery attitude coupled with ability to lead, coach and support cross-functional project teams to work through challenges.Applications close: Tuesday 6th May 2025
