What You’ll Do
* Be involved in all phases of the software development (SW) lifecycle, including testing, analysis, and maintenance of the software system.
* Participate in the SW deployment process ensuring qualified Software Products are successfully installed at our customer's facilities.
* Perform troubleshooting of system software related issues.
* Provide in-house & onsite support of customer install base and resolution of customer issues.
* Test, troubleshoot and propagate errors clearly to SW and HW Development Engineers.
* Setup and maintain tool simulators, testing environments, and lab support to reproduce issues found in the field and verify SW solutions.
* Understand customer technology & productivity needs and feedback those requirements into software development.
* Prepare presentations to Lam internal stakeholders and customers and travel worldwide wherever semiconductor customers are located (up to 25%).
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
* Technical education in Soft- and Hardware - minimum HTL / technical high school – electrical engineering, software engineering, or similar.
* Excellent computer, troubleshooting, and statistical process control skills.
* Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
* Good knowledge of operating system principles and basic hardware capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
* Professional experience would be an asset, but not a requirement.
* Ability to establish successful relationships in a multicultural environment with external and internal customers.
* Structured working style (attention to details), high degree of initiative, flexibility, and ability to work in a team.
