Rare Analog IC Design opportunity based in Vienna!
A global infrastructure technology leader is looking for an Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer to join their team in Vienna to contribute to the development of optoelectronic transceivers and sensor products for industrial and automotive applications.
In your role as Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer, you will develop new Analog Mixed Signal ICs from schematic through to layout, top-level, chip characterization, validation and test development. You will also be involved in the implementation of IC blocks, Digital and Analog interfaces, and DfT as well as the setup of new simulation tools or processes to improve the simulation of Analog Mixed Signal ICs.
As a successful Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer, you are industry degree qualified with at least 5 years of experience within a position as an Analog Mixed Signal IC Designer where you have gained solid skills in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design on schematic as well as Analog Mixed Signal Layout (Cadence, DRC, LVS) level including knowledge of ASIC simulation and verification methods and their implementation during the development cycle and integration of digital blocks into Analog Mixed Signal IC Design.
You should be able to define ASIC architecture and manage the full design cycle of an ASIC as well as know how to interface with fabrication, characterization and testing. Sound knowledge of relevant CAD tools is required.
You will work fairly independently and closely cooperate with the ASIC team and with the industrial sensor/transceiver product team. English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
