Responsibilities
* Conduct internal audits within the lending business, including identifying findings, communicating them to clients, and drafting detailed reports for internal quality assurance.
* Analyze lending practices to identify risks, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
* Project Management:
o Oversee and manage various credit management projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives.
* Status Reporting:
o Design and prepare comprehensive status reports to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and key milestones.
* Proposal Development:
o Assist in the creation of proposals, ensuring they are tailored to client needs and aligned with organizational goals.
* Presentation Preparation:
o Prepare and deliver professional presentations for internal teams and clients, providing insights into audit findings and project updates.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diverse tasks and ensure the smooth execution of credit management activities.
* Compliance and Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that all internal audits and projects adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards, contributing to the organization’s compliance efforts.
* Credit Policy Advisory:
o Provide expert advice on credit management policies and strategies, helping clients optimize their lending practices and mitigate risks.
Requirements
* Credit Business Expertise:
o In-depth knowledge of the credit business, including regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
* Internal Audit Methodology:
o Familiarity with internal audit methodologies, particularly within the German regulatory context.
* Credit Analysis Proficiency:
o Experience in performing detailed credit analyses, including risk assessment and portfolio evaluation.
* Project Management Office Skills:
o Strong project management office (PMO) capabilities, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of tasks.
* Loan File Review Experience:
o Ability to conduct comprehensive loan file reviews, ensuring compliance and accuracy in credit documentation.
* Proficiency in MS Office:
o Advanced skills in MS Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
* Consulting or Financial Institution Background:
o Prior experience with a consulting firm, financial institution, or regulatory body, or demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.
* German Language Proficiency:
o Proficiency in German at a B2 or C1 level, enabling effective communication with German-speaking clients and stakeholders.
* Adaptability in Client Environments:
o Proven ability to function effectively in client-serving environments, managing dynamic priorities and delivering high-quality results.
